WE NEED MEMBERS FOR 2010-2011

MASS is looking for new members for the upcoming semesters so that we can meet several thresholds to be a legit student society. Send us an email (uofrmass (at) gmail (dot) com) and we will keep you in the loop on events. Membership will likely be $2-5 but this has not yet been determined.

About MASS

We typically have one meeting at the beginning of each semester to organize ourselves and plan any activities. Toward the end of each semester we have a wind-up event. In Fall 2007 we had a pizza party to celebrate the end of the semester. In Winter 2008 we had a BBQ to celebrate the end of the academic year and we are planning something similar in 2010.

We offer our services to all students, not just members. Just email us (uofrmass (at) gmail (dot) com ) and let us know what you need! In the 2007-08 school year, we organized several study sessions and informal tutorials for students taking MATH, ACSC, and STAT classes.

This year we are planning a couple events, including possibly something to celebrate pi day.
