How do I use the lock?

We've posted this instructional video found on YouTube to show you how to use your locker's lock. If you're still having problems, or if you've forgotten your combination, send us an email, call us, or come visit the front desk for further assistance.

How much do lockers cost now?

The fee for lockers has been reduced from $40 ($32 + $8 deposit) to
$18 ($8 + $10 deposit).
The price for half sized lockers is also reduced, from $33 ($25 +$8 deposit) to
$15 ($5 + $10 deposit).

Why do we have a new locker program?

- Lockers are in need of repair.
This program was designed to generate the capital to replace some of these lockers.

- There are not enough lockers on campus.
We would like to increase the number of lockers on campus. Currently there are only 1231 lockers for 9783 students.

- There needs to be a system of accountability.
This will help to stop students from damaging the lockers, leading to costly repairs.

- For insurance and risk management purposes.
The university has the responsibility to know who is accessing it's space. This system will gather that information and provide for better communication between the students and the university.

- Abuse of the "free" system needs to be stopped.
Many students had several lockers. Some were going as far as unfairly "renting" them out to other students. Some lockers are also specially designed for students with disabilities, which were unavailable due to the first come, first serve basis of the "free" system.

What if I'm not here on Sept. 1st?

If you cannot be here to rent your own locker on Sept. 1st, you can have someone else rent one for you. Please download and read the "Friend Policy" PDF under the "Downloadables" section on the right for more instructions on how to have someone else rent for you.
You will have to sign note saying that this person has permission to purchase a locker and sign the waiver on your behalf, as well as provide your personal information for rental purposes.

In addition, we cannot take pre-orders or reserve a locker for you.
