Students, faculty and staff will have easier access between Luther College and First Nations University starting Monday January 11th. Facilities Management will work this weekend removing parking curbs and installing fences, signs, and barricades to convert part of the south road in Lot 3 to a temporary pedestrian corridor.

The temporary sidewalk will extend from Luther College through the University Drive East/ Lot 3 entrance. Because of this, the lot entrance will be closed to cars starting Monday. Access to Lot 3 will be from the two north entrances only. Eight parking stalls will be removed to allow cars to still circulate at the south end of the lot.

The temp sidewalk will be cleared of snow as are all other main sidewalks on campus and be in service until the planned permanent sidewalk is constructed in the summer of 2010.

The University community's cooperation in absorbing this minor adjustment to their daily routine helps to make the University safer.
Thank you.
