My name is Kaytlyn Barber, and I hope you will choose me to be your 2011/2012 Women's Director. I am a 4th year business student and currently hold the position of Vice President External Affairs of the University of Regina Students' Union (URSU). In 2009/2010 I was the Vice President of Student Affairs of URSU. I am actively involved in both the University and wider community recognized as the recipient in 2010 of the Red Cross Young Humanitarian Award. If elected as women's representative I will work to re-establish board committees providing board members more involvement with the URSU. In addition I will continue to be a strong advocate for issues pertaining to women such as the need for improved access through additional childcare spaces at the University of Regina.
