Linden Wilcock (For Students)
As a University of Regina student, I have taken an extreme interest in getting to know fellow students and a critical interest in the workings of the school and the surrounding community that affect myself and others. The opportunity of being URSU VP External Affairs excites me as I, through a variety of tenures, have developed skills and made connections that will benefit our school. I am honoured to have the opportunity to bring my positive, outgoing demeanor and ability to build and maintain relationships into the competition for this position.

With the 2011-2012 school year already showing signs of significance with both provincial and federal elections on the horizon, these attributes will prove to be beneficial in raising political awareness on campus and ensuring student issues are at the forefront.

Taking advantage of the momentum created by the current executive staff and capitalizing on the diversity of incoming team members will help to foster current and create new initiatives alike, such as:

- The reformation of the transit system to benefit students and
- The improvement of the corresponding parking arrangement

My past involvement with Cougar Athletics, my time spent at other post-secondary institutions, and my involvement with various faculties have given me a wide perspective and provided me with the ambition to represent all students in order to improve our lives at the U of R and project our image to the external community with honour.

I am actively anticipating what is in store!

  Vote Linden Wilcock.
