Hi! My name is Paige Kezima and I am a third year social work student. I am very excited to be running for Vice President of External Affairs. I have been an active community member since I was a child living in Canora, Saskatchewan. After attending the UofR for three years, I have been a member of many university groups and feel at home here on campus. I am outgoing, passionate and genuinely excited to represent the student body. I look forward to collaborating with you all so we can make the UofR the best place it can be. "The Voice of Students" is comprised of intelligent and eager students committed to advocating for the needs and wants of our students.

Our platform is as follows:

- Lobby for a tuition freeze

- Increase funding to student groups and societies

- Review the locker tax

- Make more money available to student groups and societies

- Reduce the number of privileges given to URSU executives (reduce free classes and eliminate Owl discounts)

Post-secondary education is becoming less and less accessible every day. Tuition has increased 5% last year and 3% in the previous year. Housing in Regina is difficult to find and even more difficult to afford. Your students union needs to advocate for the needs of all students, which is why our team would focus our attention on these issues that directly affect us.
