I wish to seek election on the above position. The past few years has seen high increase of International students at the U of R. International students are very fundamental to the growth of the university with an emphasis to multiculturalism. It is therefore important to have a representation on URSU. I am currently the President African Students Union U of R. In my capacity I have been able to work with many students' bodies on campus and other organizations within the community. I have been successful in my role by raising concerns on some of the issues affecting International students and students in general. In the senate I will represent students and International students on all academic decision making process at the university of Regina. I believe we as students have issues that affect us but; they can only be addressed by having a vocal representation in the organs that make these decisions. I therefore deem myself qualified seeking your votes in the senate position. I shall be vocal in raising all your concerns to ensure that we all enjoy our student life at the university. In the upcoming elections, I urge you to vote for me please!
