Working as your current URSU President has been a very successful experience. URSU has devoted the past ten months to working as effectively as possible, to ensure your 20010/2011 school year is the best that it can be. Some of our accomplishments this year have been:

- Creating and sustaining the economic success of The Owl
- Increased funding to student societies / associations
- Working with the Saskatchewan Student Coalition to make education more accessible by reducing interest rates on student loans, and increasing eligibility for student financial assistance
- Created the working draft of the URSU Strategic Plan
- Began creating the URSU Core Regina Scholarship

These initiatives have been exciting, but we feel that there is much more to be done. This year we plan to:

- Create more accessible parking on campus
- Increase PAC and URSU Club funding
- Lower URSU Student Fees
- Lobby for affordable and accessible post secondary education
- Complete the URSU Strategic Plan
- Work with our Athletes teams to boost student interest in campus sporting events
- Allocate a large shared space to provide Societies / Clubs with a "living quarters"
- Make residence a more exciting aspect to university life
- Lobby to decrease International Student Fees
- Prevent increased Graduate Student Fees
