Hi guys, My name is Ahmed Anees, I am a graduate student in social studies. I am running for the graduate student director position. As a previous senate member, Graduate Students Association executive and URSU board of director in the last three years, I accumulated a lot of experience that will be use for the interest of the grad student. I am planning to serve the grad students by working with the FGSR and the university departments to ensure that there are available courses and available fund for our grad students. I will always carry the graduate student concerns to the campus administration and to campus wide committees which deal with topics ranging from parking to long-range academic planning. I believe that students should have access to support that can enhance their time at the University of Regina fully. I aim to raise awareness of support available, represent graduates' interests and promote graduate students' wellbeing.
