My name is Jon Petrychyn, and I am a third year Fine Arts student majoring in Film and Video Studies. I have been active with the Regina Film and Video Students Society for the past two years, an am currently Treasurer of the organization. I have been active in promoting all aspects of our campus, working as an Ambassador at Fall and Winter Orientation. I am also one of the founding members of the newly reinstated Fine Arts Students Association.

If elected Fine Arts Director, I will:

- Increase the awareness and visibility of Fine Arts works, projects, productions, and installations on campus and in the community
- Maintain an open dialogue with URSU and the University about the needs of Fine Arts students

- Lobby for increased funding to student clubs within the Fine Arts

- Increase student engagement in Fine Arts events

- Work towards expanding the interdisciplinary relationships between the Fine Arts and other faculties on campus

I am also a vocal supporter of the Voice of Students candidates. They have developed a strong team that will be effective in representing the voice of all students across campus. If elected to the board, will actively listen to the needs of all Fine Arts students, and will work to have their voice heard not only in the boardroom, but also across campus.
